Welcome to Endometriosis Ascot.

Women are referred to our practice either by their General Practitioner or other Gynaecologists in New Zealand. Hilary Liddell, Mark Insull and Graeme Washer all work at Ascot Hospital, Greenlane, Auckland.  Hilary and Mark are Gynaecological Surgeons and Graeme is a General Surgeon. Our rooms are geographically separate from each other within the Ascot Hospital complex; however we all operate in the Ascot Hospital theatres.

Where appropriate, we collaborate with each other during our surgery, and Graeme Washer is often involved where endometriosis is found in the bowel.

We meet on a regular basis to discuss the management of difficult case, and recent advances and improvements in the management of endometriosis.

To make an appointment to see Dr Mark Insull, please phone 522 3797. When you phone for an appointment, Linda (our Practice Secretary) will be your first point of contact.

Linda will ask for your name, address, date of birth and contact telephone numbers and will organise an appointment for you to meet with Mark.

You can find us at Level 2, Suite 3, Ascot Hospital, 90 Greenlane Road East, Greenlane.

On the day of your consultation you may be asked to fill out a form with some preliminary questions. Your consultation with Mark will take approximately 45 minutes.

To make an appointment to see Dr Liddell please phone 520 9361 and speak to Glenda, Mary or Jackie. The initial appointment is 45 minutes to 1 hour. 

We are located at Ascot Central (the large office block alongside Ascot hospital one block closer to the motorway). The address is 7 Ellerslie Racecourse Drive. Dr Liddells  rooms are on the first floor called Ascot Central Womens Clinic.

On arrival you will be asked to fill in a pain questionaire. If you have had surgery elsewhere please bring any details especially OPERATION NOTE and HISTOLOGY (report on any tissue removed). Any PHOTOGRAPHS are especially valuable. Also any recent xray discs or films should be brought.
